Screening of The Encampments at SFU Surrey Campus

Alongside numerous community partners, CCMS will be hosting a screening of the documentary The Encampments on the evening of October 24, this time on SFU’s Surrey campus. This timely documentary tracks how students flooded Columbia University’s lawn to create the Gaza Solidarity Encampment in order to pressure their university to divest from the US and Israeli weapons companies.
This screening will be followed by a short discussion and Q&A hosted by the screening’s partnering organizations.
